I am immensely thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Breast Cancer Hub (BCH). Dr. Lopa, the founder of BCH, is extremely dedicated to furthering the cause of this organization, and has served as a wonderful mentor through my volunteer projects. BCH is an organization dedicated to deconstructing the taboo surrounding certain cancer types in individuals across gender identities, as well as increasing access to various prevention and treatment methods. Dr. Lopa's work with BCH within the United States and in multiple developing countries (i.e. India) has enabled her to begin deconstructing relevant taboos and increase access to various prevention and treatment methods.
