Review for Reynolda House Inc, Winston Salem, NC, USA
I love working with the staff and collection at Reynolda. I grew up in Winston-Salem and to get a "back-stage" pass to one of my favorite places is a dream come true. I wasn't quite sure what I would be doing as a docent, and it turns out a little of everything! The house has such a wonderful and rich history and to pair it with one of the greatest and most diverse collections of American art is unbelievable. No matter where you look in the home, and it is truly a home, you see a snap-shot of American life at the turn of the century, woven with the changing scene of American art. I can not praise the collection, or the staff, enough. Reynolda is truly an unique experience, and it varies every time you walk through the front door.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
As a child I toured the house several times with school groups and then as an adult I have been given the opportunity to lead those same tours. I have also taken classes that Reynolda offers to learn more about the collection and the home itself.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would offer more classes for adults. There are summer art classes for children, but I would love to take one for adults as well.
