The Tandana Foundation is a unique organization in that it holds community needs above all else. The Ecuador team is always looking for new opportunities to support community partners in reaching their goals. During the pandemic the Foundation has continued supporting local partners by providing medical supplies and masks and offering virtual learning opportunities to scholarship students such as English lessons, an entrepreneurship workshop, and remote exchanges with US students. Additionally, they have created online events and exchanges that showcase community members' traditions, knowledge, and skills. The Foundation has done a great job of adapting to the difficult circumstances during the last year and has embraced the opportunity to expand into remote programming.
