My wife and I used to volunteer at the lovely GoatHouse, we helped feed the many rescues, new born and growing kittens housed there. It is truly amazing, feeding time how these babies just know and line up for their bowls of food in the AM and the PM.
We also cleaned their cages where the special needs babies were kept. We cleaned the litter boxes, we cleaned the kitten cabanas also the holding rooms. It was a complex place once you got to know it. It also needed daily care. The fence surrounding the complex needed weekly maintenance just to make sure no animals tore it up trying to get in.
Not only did we help out we donated our time and money to keep it going till it got to much for my back and my wife’s job just got busier and more demanding. I still help out monetarily.
Wishing I could do more only if I hit the lottery. God Bless Siglinda for all she does for the Animal’s.
