My Nonprofit Reviews

I was injured in 2010 while speed flying in Montana. For over a decade I have been living an active life as an incomplete c7 quadriplegic and have been following High Fives for most of that. It has been truly amazing to see all the lives they have affected.
For about a decade I have been exploring trails on a hand cycle without power assistance and without any suspension. To say that it has had its limitations would be an understatement. I have been dreaming of the day that I could ride my own Bowhead Reach so that I could finally be mountain biking in the way that resembles how I biked on trails before my accident. When I say that I mean it both in my ability and also in the way that I used to share the experiences with those around me. I applied for a High Fives grant and to my surprise I found out that the Bowhead would be a reality in my life.
I truly can't wait to to experience the mountains with my fiends and especially my partner. Her and I have been searching for ways that we can both get out without it feeling like a sufferfest every time. The dream is coming true and its all because of High Fives. There is no way I can explain how much this means but just know that they are changing the lives of many people living with disabilities. Mine included. Thanks you High Fives!!!
