Review for World Museum of Mining Inc, Butte, MT, USA
I worked with the World Museum of Mining first as a technical consultant. The museum employees and volunteers have always really impressed me with their dedication. It doesn't matter how cramped or chilly the working conditions are, the crew is always there to get their work completed. And they're always able to wrangle up some help to fix a leaky roof or otherwise compromised outdoor exhibit. The level of community enthusiasm for the museum is really inspiring. I would love to see what this dedicated team could achieve with some better funding.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Seeing the wonderful history they are preserving for our community and witnessing how they bring that history to life for their visitors. Now my kids are the ones falling in love with the museum. Both my 11 year old daughter and my 5 year old son are thrilled to get to participate in events and in volunteer work at the museum.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would love to see the World Museum of Mining receive the funding needed to properly maintain and display its wide range of artifacts--photos, books, tools and equipment and more. The World Museum of Mining tells a great story about our local history and it will be wonderful to see that story expand--onsite and online--when the resources are available.
