Years ago, God brought me, broken, helpless and homeless to Wingard Home. I had been in and out of jails for years. I was addicted to drugs and truthfully, thought I would die before I would be able to live drug free. I completed the program and stayed on for several years as a dorm monitor. At Wingard Home, I learned to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I returned to college at 52. I learned how to be responsible, accountable, honest and trustworthy. Last May, I celebrated 12 years of freedom from active addiction. I'll always be grateful to Charlotte Wingard and Wingard Home. God, through this ministry, saved me, cleaned me up and set me free! Thank God for Wingard Home!!!

During the worst part of my life, Wingard Home Ministry took me in, gave me a home and hope for the future. I was hopelessly addicted to drugs and had been in and out of jails and prisons for decades. I had lived on the streets for years. There, I found Jesus and learned how to be responsible and accountable. I completed the program, returned to college, got a job and found that there is life after addiction. I stayed on at Wingard Home for several years and I'm so grateful for my time there. For me, it was a life saving, life changing experience. The Wingards are family to me and always will be. I can't say enough good about the work they do there and the life changing opportunity they give to the hopelessly lost. Today, I have been drug free for over 9 years, family relationships have been healed, I'm happily married and I am a responsible, law abiding citizen. Jesus took the mess of my life and turned it into a message and that message began at Wingard Home Ministry!

Wingard Home changed my life. I'll always be grateful that they took me in when no one else would help me. I found out how to live free from a life long addiction. I've been clean since 5/15/11. That's a miracle. God placed me with the Wingard's for a reason. While I was there I learned how to have a relationship with Jesus, how to be responsible and accountable. Today, I'm free from the nightmare of the past and I know that I would not be here to share about God's Amazing Grace had it not been for the Wingard Home.

Living at Wingard Home changed my life. I learned to be responsible and accountable. It was there that I was able to rebuild my life and began to seek God's will for my life. I can't say enough good about this wonderful ministry. I'll always be grateful for Charlotte and Roy Wingard and their family.

I have lived at Wingard Home for 8 months and this has been the most rewarding and wonderful experience of my life. I was helpless, hopeless and homeless and the Wingard family invited me to live in their home and become part of their family. I had no hope and I did not know where to turn. I have learned how to be responsible and trustworthy. I have a wonderful relationship with Jesus and I am not the person who arrived here last year. I have a fantastic job and I have been so blessed. There are rules and they are not difficult to follow. It is all about trusting God and learning to seek His will for our lives. It is beyond me how anyone could say anything negative about this Ministry or the Wingard Family. Anyone who comes here is treated with respect and kindness. They provide spiritual guidance, a warm, clean, comfortable place to live, excellent food. Many people are so abundantly blessed by coming here. The ones that I have seen be ask to leave are people who are not willing to follow a few simple rules. If you are serious about getting on your feet this is an awesome opportunity. Anyone who gives a negative review for the Wingard Home needs to search their hearts and be honest with themselves and try to change the negative and lazy habits that prevent them from following rules and better themselves. I thank God daily for Wingard Home. My family is grateful for the change in me and my life. God has restored broken relationships in my life since I have been here. Charlotte has always been open and honest with me and has always encouraged me to reach for goals that I felt were not obtainable for me. I have a deep personal relationship with Jesus and I have a purpose and hope. I know that God loves me and is working in me and my life. I am a completely different person today....Praise God!! Thank you Charlotte, Roy and the entire Wingard family. You all do an awesome work for God and your love shows in all that you do. You all have taught me so much and I appreciate being given a new life throught Jesus Christ.
