Pelican Harbor is a hidden gem tucked away on the rocky shores of a Miami Beach Causeway.
Motorists drive by unaware of the amazing work being done just out of view.

Many people do not think about the relationship some human behaviors have on animals; plastics and pollution, fishing hooks and line, and habitat loss are just some of the challenges facing our local wildlife populations. As a member of the all volunteer Operation Rescue Team I do what I can to bring the injured to the station for medical attention. There I have witnessed the compassionate dedication of the Pelican Harbor staff that treats and then releases our patients back to their natural settings.

I am grateful for the the lives being saved and am so happy knowing Pelican Harbor Seabird Station will be there for the animals.
