I have been a member of Assistance League of Greater Wilmington since early 2014. It is the organization that offers me the best opportunities for what I sought as a volunteer in retirement. The thrift shop is the best in the area and has offered us opportunities to give back to the community at a level I don't think was ever envisioned when a group of members started exploring the possibility of opening a thrift shop.
