With a chronic disability, being the best bookseller I can be at indies small and large has only become more meaningful over the years. However, with the minimum-wage pay, lack of benefits, and underemployment/lack of hours unfortunately makes it very hard for us to get by.

After my husband got laid off from COVID, a coworker of mine told me about Binc and told me to give it a shot. They offered to pay our rent and are even helping us relocate. I can't even begin to describe my level of shock, disbelief, and profound gratefulness. It is so refreshing to feel valued as someone with a deep passion and knowledge of literature that is mostly undervalued.
