After my Aussie-mix girl of 12 years (17years old) passed in Feb 2020 it was lonely. Then the pandemic occurred and staying home was our life. It got TOO quiet and lonely, so we started looking on-line for a new fur buddy in June. The process was frustrating and confusing, but in August we filled out an application with Speak and were fortunate to adopt Reba, a little Aussie mix rescued from a hoarding situation. She needed a companion to help her finish her journey to being a normal "dog" so Speak helped us again. We just adopted Paige (Cecelia) who had just weaned her double merle Aussiedoodle litter of 10. Speak has been very helpful, and care exceptionally well for their rescues. They make sure their dogs are going to the best possible homes, and are also there to help if you have additional questions, need training, etc after the adoption.
