I earned my CVA 5 years ago. Doing the work for and earning this international designation was a confidence boost for me and a credibility boost for my career.

Leaning into that confidence boost led me to send in an application for the CCVA Board, which I was thrilled to be accepted onto in 2020. I'm proud to be part of a team of professionals working to advance our profession and support leaders of volunteers worldwide.

The global CVA community is growing - which means more networking and education opportunities and more doors opening for CVAs. Plus, since it's made up of folks who have made careers out of stewarding volunteers, it's a well organized, highly motivating, and sincerely supportive group.
