In the summer of 2019, WINC hosted me and 2 friends (a psychologist, a social worker, and a lawyer -- hailing from Massachusetts and England) for 2 weeks so that we could provide pro bono services to asylum seekers and lawyers at Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services in El Paso. Not only did WINC graciously house and support us, they also educated us about immigration, Customs & Border Protection, the greater El Paso community, and how to use our personal power for the greater good! I will always remember them with love and deep respect and appreciation for all they do for their community each and every day.
