Save the Whales is such an amazing organization. I was lucky enough to volunteer and work with Maris and Amanda and some of their other teammates as well. Save the Whales organization is not just about whales, while working with them I did many different events that promote sustainability and love for our planet. Some events included beach clean-ups, taking students to the beaches and teaching some small experiments with the ocean water, helping at a local garden, and as seen in the picture linked, working directly with schools to show and tell kids how amazing whales are:)
