I was political affairs intern at The Borgen Project last fall. It was a great learning experience for me. Beyond working to help the World's poor, it gave me experience in fundraising and lobbying with Senators' staff. I also learned about some of the bills that are on the senate floor. Furthermore, the project is very well organized and helps its interns step by step with the Weekly online tracker. I had a great experience and recommend to anyone who wants to make a difference in global poverty.
