I am so grateful for so much about this organization. I am a long time resident on Maui. I have seen this organization via Facebook and would also give a little to help the other islands they served. I was delighted when they finally had enough funding to open their outreach to the homeless children on the island I reside.
I was so grateful for the opportunity to be able to sponsor a few homeless children for Christmas and know they would be well cared for by the two amazing souls that run Project Hawai’i, Inc.
I had the honor of meeting both Cliff and Magin along with a few of the other new volunteer team staff at one of the toy drop off locations and was overwhelmed by the amount of gifts that were being provided. I had no idea there were over 100 homeless children just out on our streets of Maui. I was also so grateful that this team took the time and what it takes to outreach to everyone in such a short time.
After Christmas was over, I received a Thank you photo card, a long letter of amazing stories from the Christmas events across the islands, and this special photo of children opening gifts with elves under the tree they decorated themselves. While these are not the two children I sponsored, it is such a precious memory I will hold in my heart to know the joy of Christmas was spread all over our island because of the generosity that Cliff and Magin provide through their organization.
I am going to be a full-time donor and continue to support this program for the rest of my life!
I encourage anyone searching for a perfect way to give back and make a difference to learn more about Project Hawai’i, Inc. I don't know if their website gives them justice, but their facebook closed groups, their journey they share on social media is where their real life stories are shared. I am so excited to be asked to submit my review and share my story and encourage everyone to do the same
