Review for A W O L All Walks of Life Inc, Savannah, GA, USA
A desparately needed program that has been designed to fill a "void" for children, who are falling through the cracks as a result of various reasons. This program gives disadvantaged youth the opportunity to realize their potential. Participating kids are given an outlet to express themselves in a constructive way through the Arts. They are cared for and mentored along the way by having an alternative to a "latch key", unsupervised, after school environment - this is when it is most needed. This program offers focus, security, and the opportunity to succeed. I've been paying attention to the many successes this organization has achieved...it IS impressive! The founders, Tony & DaVena Jordan have worked tirelessly for their achievemants. They are truly making a difference in the lives of these kids.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
that I attended their 2010 play "Choices" -- a hip hop adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet --. It was truly entertaing and impressive. It was obvious that the kids were dedicated to the project and having a great time. This effort had to have taken a tremendous amount of time, energy and focus.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Increase the funding that they receive so that they can continue to increase ther program to serve more kids.
