I have been supporting St. Joseph's Indian School for quite some time now, though I am not able to support financially nearly as much as I wish I could. It breaks my heart to read the comments that are critical of the financial management of St. Joseph's. I don't believe, for a minute, that food is taken out of the children's mouths or clothing off their bodies, just so they can send the gift packages to potential donors. I must clarify a misconception that Friends of St. Joseph's Indian School gets all the donations and gives the school a pittance of what was donated. As directed, my checks are written to St. Joseph's Indian School not Friends of.....(this was from a comment made by a critical person). And naysayers need to research the Not for Profit 501 (c) 3. This is the legal standing that St. Joseph's operates under and they have to what I call "jump through lots of hoops" under the 501 (c) 3. I don't know how they do it all. I just know what they are doing is amazing!!! Keep up the good work!!! Everyone involved, from the youngest child to Chairman of the Board of Directors and everyone in between and the school's buildings themselves are in my morning and evening prayers every day!!!
