Plan International USA is a bright star in this sometimes challenging world and they work tirelessly to give children, especially young girls and women, access to many basic needs that many of us take for granted every day. For a small monthly investment through Plan, I am able to make a difference in one child's life, a child I've never met, but a child that needs a bit of a hand up (not a hand out, just a hand up). I had sponsored a child before through another organization but I find Plan to be the most focused on keeping its sponsors up-to-date and for ensuring its sponsors also feel cared for and listened to. For example, I wanted to find a sponsor child that shared my Dad's birthday and Plan searched its database and found the perfect match for me! Second, when I wanted to give my sponsored child gifs during the holiday season, Plan provided a wonderful gift giving guide and one of Plan's Donor Loyalty Reps even spent time with me helping me select just the right gifts.
