Janice visited our Evergreen Valley High school club meeting through Zoom. We were already aching to have someone speak to our peers as the numbers of mental health issues have gone up from quarantine. Support was NEEDED within our community as the usual on-campus resources were less accessible.

She informed us of how we can help someone going through an eating disorder along with her own wisdom, meaningful experiences she had gone through. She is a beautiful, inspirational, intelligent person surrounded with warmth. Her passion can be even felt through the screen, making every chance to talk to her very fulfilling. Additionally, she was readily answering questions about how to support someone going through an eating disorder during our Q&A. I've learned so much from her despite being the time we spent together being a small time frame!

It was a pleasure to have her at our meeting. EDRC is doing a fantastic job with how devoted, determined their volunteers are. They have a writing contest , support groups, various creative activities available on their website that catches the eye! The message is clear of how they'd like to spread awareness to eating disorders and it's wonderful to have a local eating disorder resource center who are changing the lives of many!
