My unforgettable experience at the Goathouse has been from a unique perspective. Filling the roles of volunteer and videographer I’ve witnessed things that restored my faith in humans. When you have an inside view of the hardships and triumphs that Siglinda has overcome, you’d ask yourself “where does she get the intestinal fortitude to do this every day?”. It comes from her committed staff and workers who are there long hours, in all weather, every single day. Siglinda is a petite but mighty warrior standing her ground from incompetent shelters, malevolent inspectors with personal vendettas and the heinous animal cruelty that is out there. She works outside her means to accommodate lost, sick injured kitties. Her knowledge of remedies and the methodology of administering treatment is above the bar.
