This winter 40 individuals who would have been exposed to Covid-19 by being out in the weather, unhoused, are in apartments, with medical attention and hot food. One was widowed in October and lost her housing. Another a grandma, over 70, has diabetes and her insulin is delivered by a Communicare case manager. This is an excellent effort by the entire community to meet the needs of the underserved vulnerable members of Davis. I highly recommend this framework for other communities.
