I havent been in town for a while but the horror stories about this equine hospital are still being told to me. When I was there I was treated like I was a criminal. They didnt want you to come see your horse. I was told it would be better for the horse if you werent there. Well it was a good thing I was. My horse had gone down and he was thrashing around and no one was there. to see this. Finally when someone showed up they said I cant be everywhere at once. Ok well then I find my horse tied with nothing happening to him and no one around. He couldnt even get to the water bucket. I was told he was going to die anyway. There is so much more but you get the picture.
they kept trying to get us not to come visit . She was so nasty to us and we were a paying customer. I watched a horse colic and the staff walked right by him. My neighbor at the time said this place is where you bring your horse to die. I took him home and he survived
If Helen Woodward would be alive today she would be horrified.
