What the Nonhuman Rights Group is doing is revolutionary and an important step for mankind. I came across a news story on Happy the elephant and the animal rights group who is trying to free her. Happy is being held alone in the Bronx zoo and the Nonhuman Rights Project is litigating on her behalf. They have a few other animal clients with similar stories. Their board members are few but include most famously, Jane Goodall. Their approach is to present court cases that argue that animals are not "things" born into existence to serve at man's leisure. That animals are beings with wills of their own and deserve better living conditions. And that as humans, it is our responsibility to honor that. What they're doing is truly remarkable and an inspiring step for mankind. I will be making it my own personal mission to help in anyway I can to help Free Happy and all sentient beings.
