I have adopted 2 dogs from Labrador Rescuers over the last 9 years. They evaluate the dogs and try to understand their personality and strengths/weaknesses to best determine what type of family would be a good fit. I find this very helpful. I have cats and children in the home and they have helped me find a dog who will be gentle with both. I just adopted my second dog and we love her. She is wonderful. Thank you to Labrador Rescuers for this new member of our family. They also did a great job of doing a medical evaluation to determine if there were health concerns that needed to be addressed and managed.
