Review for Environmental Fund for Arizona, Phoenix, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

EFAZ is a fantastic resource for the environmental non-profit community. Laine Seaton, the Executive Director, provides excellent service to help their clients and continuously improve the organization. EFAZ is relentless in pursuing new corporate giving programs to the benefit of EFAZ's clients.

In these times of economic turndown, there are so many other worthy causes for people to support. With EFAZ's help, the environmental community has a voice.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have watched this organization grow and improve for the past three years. Laine was on my board for two years and, as she has helped EFAZ grow, she helped us grow.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would like to see EFAZ grow - this will take more people (board and/or volunteers) taking action. One person can do only so much - there's only so many hours in a day.

Role:  Professional with expertise in this field & I recieved professional advice for fundraising and branding. .

Review for North Country Conservancy Inc, Phoenix, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Over the past year, we’ve made great strides for broadening awareness about our mission, including several successful walking stick craft workshops, educational parent-youth hikes, our Annual NCC Photo-Art Contest, and promotional events with the Anthem Days and AZ Game & Fish Expos. This has been our most successful year to raise funds and awareness for our mission to preserve Daisy Mountain. We have expanded our supporters to surrounding communities through such activities as supporting the Pioneer Living History Museum and working with a multi-organizational coalition that is developing a new park just a few miles north of Daisy Mountain. While we’re energized by these successes, there’s still much to do to fulfill our mission – and you can partner with us in the journey!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

recruiting volunteers to work at exhibit booths at community events, lead hikes, sell tickets as a fundraiser (mall special shopping event and a Suns basketball game), and advocate our mission at political events. We also held our first Make a Difference Day doing a trash pick up on Daisy Mountain (near Anthem, Arizona) with 20 plus volunteers and assistance from the New River-Desert Hills Community Association and Maricopa Country (provided the dumpster). Thanks for all involved!!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I wish we could change the Arizona Enabling Act to allow some State Trust Lands to be set aside as preserves for benefit of state residents and tourists.
