Like so many, I was laid off from my bookstore as a result of COVID-19. I wrote to Binc on a lark, assuming there was no way that I would hear back or even get any support. That's because I didn't understand the scope of what Binc does.

To my grateful surprise, not only did I hear back quickly but I was helped by having Binc pay a full month's rent. It made all the difference in the world, not only financially but with the peace of mind that I wasn't going to be evicted during a pandemic.

I'm back to work since then and did not have to go deep into debt because of something out of my control. It's easy as a bookseller to feel a part of some isolated frontier community with little support or recourse. But Binc not only helped me out, it made me feel I was a part of something bigger and important.
