Review for Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities, Saint Paul, MN, USA
I have worked specifically with the Food Services division of Union Gospel Mission, and have had great experiences with them. They help thousands of people in the Twin Cities directly, and indirectly by partnering with other orginizations and utilizing their connections to further their food outreach.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
diverse and effective ministry and social justice programs.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
ease up on partner org requirements.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
making new connections and a willingness to partner to achieve a common goal.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
kind, professional, and effective.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Grow.
Ways to make it better...
remote orginizations had a more flexibility in the partnership.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
matching their programs needs with the finances and staff required to run it.
One thing I'd also say is that...
my experience is limited to the food programs, but I would expect the same level of professionalism and effectiveness across the org.

Review for Feed My Starving Children, Coon Rapids, MN, USA
What a wonderful organization. You cannot do much more good then to feed people who are dying of starvation. The meals are packaged in centers in the US, and sent all over the world. The meals are engineered to provide essential nutritional needs. Look at the stories on their site.. You can go down solo, or bring a group. A little time can make a big difference. The centers are very well managed, and informative. The staff is very knoweledgeable and accommodating. They even tally up the numbers from your group so you can see how many children you have fed with the meals you packaged. A very rewarding experience.
