Review for Alpha Bravo Canine™, Philadelphia, PA, USA
I am a US Marine combat Veteran with PTSD and I was having a lot of issues with my symptoms causing me to miss time at work and putting me at risk of being terminated if I could not get things under control. After seeing "To Be Of Service" on Netflix, I figured a Service Dog is the one thing I had not yet tried as it pertains to treatments, as I had literally tried everything else. After applying to Alpha Bravo Canine I was contacted by Jennifer who helped me through the process. After about 8 months, Jennifer had me come in and meet my future Service Dog, "Cooper". Jennifer told me that day, that if I decided to move forward with being paired with Cooper and becoming certified, I would "never be alone or abandoned in this process and would forever be a part of the Alpha Bravo Canine Family"... I can honestly say she wasn't lying. During my training with Cooper, I felt not only the bond growing with him, but also with Jennifer herself and the ABC team. I literally call Jennifer my "second Marine Mom" and truly look at her as such. Cooper and I have now been together since August of 2020, and we are inseparable. He is literally my best friend, he takes care of me, and I him, and my PTSD symptomology has decreased significantly. None of this would be possible without the amazing and committed work of Jennifer Green, her trainers, puppy raisers, volunteers, and those who donate and support Alpha Bravo Canine. I can say without a doubt that Alpha Bravo Canine changed my life, and they will continue to change the lives of many veterans to come as long as they are operating!
