We have been donating to Heifer for years. It doesn't matter how many brochures and catalogs you send, we are retired and on a fixed budget, so we send what we can afford. It has always annoyed us at how much is spent on begging for more money. When people donate, can't you put them on a list to hold the mail for a while. We recently made a donation and it feels good to think that we might be helping people but you steal our joy by just asking for more money. And now along with all of the notes asking for more money, we got a letter from some young woman in New Hampshire telling us that she is our personal guide for Heifer. We don't want a guide and we don't want "someone to chat with." ( And why did she have to dress so scantily? ) We want our hard earned money to go to help people, not to pay for brochures and personal guides. If you don't hear from us in the future, it's because we are annoyed at how much money you spend on asking for more money.
