I had received the scholarship for the 2018-19 academic year. This was not just a scholarship but was a bridge to my dream.
My mother is the only breadwinner in my family. Paying the mess and academic fee was as difficult as climbing Everest for us. The Process of Education loan was still to be completed at that time. Swami Dayanand Foundation came as a miracle, understood my need, and helped me out to pay my fees. We were able to pay back the amount taken at greater interest from the pawnbrokers to pay the fees. The foundation also had invited me to apply for a scholarship next consecutive year, but as my loan process was completed, I decided to let other needy students to get benefitted from the scholarship.
The scholarship bought a sigh of relief and the smile on my family's face was invaluable. Hope I could one of the donor in my future.
