Eden United Church of Christ is very grateful for the $5,000 Challenge Grant that the Hayward Rotary Club Foundation provided to Comida para Cherryland, our semi-monthly drive-thru contactless food pantry. This generous grant inspired nearly $12K in contributions to our food pantry at a time when our community was experiencing 50%+ unemployment. That's right--over 50% unemployment. That's not a typo.
