Review for Carrying Capacity Network Inc, San Francisco, CA, USA
I was a long-time donor to this organization but began noticing that I never heard much about their activities, they were never in the news, there didn't seem to be anyone answering the phone when I called, they only had a post office box, etc. All I ever got were repeated requests for money. Upon trying to contact their D.C. office recently I learned that the office has in fact closed and they have no staff. They have not informed their donors of this fact and someone is still soliciting donations, however.
I was also a donor to a similar organization, Population Environment Balance. I have now discovered that the two organizations shared the same office before it closed and are in fact run by the same people. I feel this is a very underhanded way to get people to unknowingly make double contributions.
I am very concerned about where my contributions over the years have actually been going. I cannot reach anyone, however, as the number has been disconnected and I get no response to emails.

They are very secretive so it is hard to determine exactly who is running the organization. After some research it appears that a David Durham in California is behind both groups. If the organization has shut down they need to stop asking people for money. I hate to think of how much I donated over the years, thinking I was supporting a good cause.
