My Nonprofit Reviews

Leeschwa
Review for Biodiversity Conservation Alliance, Laramie, WY, USA
BCA is fantastic about getting the word out on issues. The only feedback I would have that is "constructive" is that sometimes, like so many environmental organizations, BCA relies on emotional rather than hard factual impact.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
educating the public about local and regional issues.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Try to be more encompassing of the entire community, rather than "preaching to the choir."
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
activities like field trips to Ferris Dunes and slide shows of the Red Desert.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Friendly, energetic and passionate.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand staffing.
Ways to make it better...
I saw a trend toward using fact-based rather than emotion-driven responses to issues.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Being recognized as pertinent by forces that are not in tune with the organization's philosophy and being more encompassing of the entire stakeholder community.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I support BCA in deed, even when I can't afford the money to support.
