Great mix of hard work in preparing a demanding repertoire and having fun performing. Only strong congeniality and a true service spirit can do it. Shows are a uplifting, but if you truly want to experience the "singers soul", go to their auditions and join them!

The Alexandria Singers is as much an extended family as it is a chorus. Members make a point of making prospective members sincerely welcome, and their sense of making and giving to community is paramount. One of the most hearth warming activities is their annual holiday singing at the shelter: sharing the love of songs with people who’s suffering dilutes the pain and engenders happiness. We all feel embraced and included in one song.
