With my husband recently retired, I was let go from my job earlier this year due to COVID . My husband's retirement pay was not able to cover all of our monthly financial responsibilities. I reached out to the Green Beret Foundation letting them know of our financial strain and they responded quickly. They helped cover some of our immediate bills and alleviated so much stress during this difficult time. I was fortunate enough to gain employment again but am not sure what we would have done if they were not there to help us. I can't thank them enough for being there for us.
