Dare To Be stepped in and helped my grandmother at a time when she needed it most. My grandmother has been through many tragedies: escaping WWII, emigrating to the US, losing children, losing a husband. But when Dare To Be came into our lives, she had just seen her son die in her arms. She was left with debt and poor health. Dare To Be provided equipment that allowed her to stay in her family home instead of in a facility. I can’t even imagine if she was in a home when Covid broke out. I am so grateful that Dare To Be was able to help preserve my grandmother’s quality of life. They will never know how huge their impact was on my family.
