I have been volunteering at Tabby's Place for over 10 years now. It is the most wonderful, happy place. The cats are cherished and the people are loved and appreciated by humans and felines alike. I have worked in almost all of the volunteer jobs that are available to do, but my favorite volunteer experience so far has been spearheading the Paws To Read program. Children and adults can sign up to read to the cats which helps develop better readers as well as socialize and give attention to the special residents of this amazing sanctuary. Unfortunately due to Covid, this program is suspended for now, but I look forward to the day that I am welcoming people back into the Lobby to find that special cat to share a story with and snuggle. Tabby's Place is heaven on Earth for all who enter the doors.
