I have been involved with VIN since 2010 - first as a volunteer since as the founder of the first Friends of VIN - based in the Netherlands. I do not know where to start to praise the efforts (and results) made by VIN in some of the most rural and marginalized communities in Nepal. They work holistically with rural communities to ensure self-sustainability in the long run.
As a volunteer you will be taken good care of; after the 2-day induction VIN makes sure there are appropriate follow-ups at your project site and they also facilitate monthly volunteer meetings. It's truly a recommendable organization. This is how development should be done!
