Review for German Shepherd Safe Haven Inc, Laguna Niguel, CA, USA
We cannot say enough good things about German Shepard Safe Haven. TOM WILLIAMSON, who we met and adopted our Mysti from, wanted to make sure that the dogs he took in and cared for would be placed in the right home.
We initially conversed through email, and then Tom called and we talked for quite a while (didn’t realize we were being interviewed), he ended up having a good feeling about us, and arranged a meet and greet. We were introduced to Mysti at a park, and after about an hour of talking more with Tom, and having us run and walk Mysti around, he felt that we would be good fit for her. Tom shared with us later that he at first did not think that we would be good candidate to adopt Mysti, but upon taking the time to connect with us, he felt at peace knowing we would take good care of her.
Tom is a fantastic trainer, she came house broken and with all her basic commands, and has made himself available to support us in helping her remember them, lol. Mysti is a great loving dog, loyal and protective as she is thankful to have us as her family, and we are blessed to have her to love and care for.
Over the month search to adopt a dog, it seemed that many places wanted to place their dogs in good homes, but we felt Tom/German Shepard Safe Haven want to ensure that their dogs were placed in THE RIGHT HOME and not be abandoned again. He also told us that their adopted dogs and their families gather together once every year for a picnic. We thought that was very special, and look forward to participate.
If you're a German Shepard lover, reach out to German Shepard Safe Haven, and hopefully you'll find a dog that will reciprocate the love and second chance you've given it. Mysti has certainly done that for us.
Thank you Tom and German Shepard Safe Haven! “OUR HOUSE IS NOW A HOME”
