DC SCORES provides great support to poet-athletes throughout the city. The pandemic has not slowed this group down, they have pivoted to more online programming, supplemented by mailing equipment and creative writing essentials to participants homes. I am on the Advisory Board and thrilled to be associated with this organization that is truly making a difference in the lives of DC youth.
