What an amazing, warm, nurturing and educational environment for people of all abilities! Every time my son Robb (who has Down Syndrome and autism) and I leave the ponies and Joan and her volunteers, we know we've had a very special experience. The group at Rose of Sharon has not only awakened skills in Robb, but at each visit he and I both enjoy an opportunity to learn about patience and caregiving through relationships with the ponies. We so appreciate any time we have with them all!
