I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, but started volunteering at Tabby's Place when one of the shelter cats tested FIV+. Another volunteer and I got him into Tabby's Place. What a great move for that cat!
The difference between the shelter and Tabby's Place was amazing. He no longer was stuck in a cage! He was in the Fiv+ suite; the suite even has access to a solarium!
The staff members are wonderful! They know every cat and pamper them. If the medical staff at Tabby's Place can't give a cat what it needs, it's sent to a clinic or specialist.
If a cat isn't in a private home, Tabby's Place is the best place to be!
