I am a regular volunteer at Hope's Corner. It is a wonderful soup kitchen that helps anyone who needs meals. There are some regular guests who come weekly and getting to know their names and who they are is one of the best parts of volunteering. Getting to know the other volunteers is another great part about helping out there.

I have been volunteering with Hope's Corner for about two years now. It is a welcoming place where anyone can show up to get a hot meal and a bag lunch. Hope's Corner does not turn anyone away, and since the pandemic has seen the numbers of people needing food increase. They have also started to provide food for families living in RVs and day workers in Mountain View since the pandemic started. The other volunteers are genuine and easy going so I enjoy going to help out. It's also nice that after a while we get to know the people coming by to pick up food. Hope's Corner serves a real need in the community and shows compassionate care to those who come.
