My son has slight learning disabilities. i knew school would help him till he was 22 but like a lot of other parents i didnt know what would happen to him after that. That is when the POINT program run by wjcs stepped in-a godsend. it is a program where these kids can live independently with help from program specialists from wjcs for such things as budgeting, learning to live on their own, and most important social relationships that he will keep forever. they also have specialists who find them working opportunities and internships. my son has been in the program for over 10 years, got married , has a full time job for over 10 years and has a lot of friends that will last forever. the program is run with great compassion. they have monthly calendars that keeps them busy all day. its just a wonderful program and a life saver
