Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
It is unfortunate that HSUS has exploited the humane society name to make innocent people thinking they are saving dogs and cats. Unfortunately, HSUS is an animal welfare extremist industry. Let's face it, their staff has to raise money for their boards agenda to get done. If they don't raise money they will no longer have a job. I love my pets and adopted them from a shelter. I give generously to my local shelter and want all other wanting to save dogs and cats to also give locally. The HSUS provides very little assistance to local shelters. Just enough to say they do help. It is really sad.
