The Museum of Friends is unique in that it accomplishes five extremely important goals: 1) it provides a home for a permanent art collection of exceptional quality open to the public; 2) it organizes, curates, and displays changing art exhibits themed to local and national interests; 3) it provides art classes for the community's school age youth; 4) it anchors the community's downtown core by being an important visitor attraction; and 5) it saves and restores an old, architecturally significant, downtown commercial building important to the history and character of the community. The Museum of Friends is a gem - a must-see experience, and a non-profit eminently worthy of support.
