I have been a monthly donor to ActionAid for a number of years. They have made amazing inroads working with women in African nations. Recently they were on the forefront providing aid and support after cyclone Idai. They supplied food, sleeping mats and other essential items reaching 4000 families in Malawi. We have dear friends who run the Malawi Methodist Church there and it means the world to us knowing that ActionAid has a presence there to help in this time of extreme need. I have been pleased to see not only this rescue work but their work over the years across Africa to help elevate the women, and thereby the families of many of these poor nations.
