I recommend fully checking out My Hero Project. It's an excellent educational portal that showcases a diverse range of inspirational role models from various fields and provides engaging content, profiles, and resources to motivate and empower learners of all ages. Whether you're a student, teacher, or just looking for a source of inspiration, My Hero Project is a valuable media platform to explore the stories of remarkable individuals who have made a positive impact on the world. I'm honored to have some of my work showcased on their site and very grateful for the work they do.
Review for My Hero Project Inc, Laguna Beach, CA, USA
MY Hero project is an extremely valuable educational resource that teaches young people about social justice while celebrating exemplary heroic role models by using their media and technology platform. They help to bridge barriers by reaching a truly global audience and engaging young people with visual arts, film, audio arts, & writing to inspire hope and activate their participation in social change making. They also provide a comprehensive library of resources and guides for teachers to help facilitate this learning in their classrooms. Needless to say, as a Gen-Z filmmaker, I was absolutely thrilled when they asked me to submit my short film excerpt about Vietnam napalm bomb survivor Kim Phuc to their film festival and for their global online platform. At a time when youth are faced with looming existential threats regarding our survival, MY HERO offers positive examples of how we might champion our own inner hero for peace and the planet.
