I started as just another tour guest enjoying the life BCR offers cats who have no choice but to be captive. I’m now a proud volunteer keeper who strives to give the same comfort and care I witnessed all those years ago. Big Cat spares no expensive on providing the absolute BEST raw meat diet, daily enrichment opportunities and top notch veterinary care to each and every cat on property. The bobcat rehab program is so great that the FWC now works alongside BCR with the releasable cats fitting them with gps collars to help gather invaluable information. I couldn’t be prouder to help with the care of these cats until we get the BCPSA passed.

Big Cat Rescue has earned my respect over and over as I watch them take in discarded and abused cats from both private owners and circus's. Some of the cats have been near death and Big Cat Rescue has pulled out all the stops with vet care to bring them back to health. Not only do they save cats and give them a beautiful place to live out their days they are a huge force behind getting the Big Cat Public Safety Act passed that will stop private ownership and cub petting schemes that will in effect save a lot of tigers, lions and other big cats from having to live a life in a cage.
